FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

HOW DO I BOOK YOU?

Following your initial enquiry, I will send you a booking form via email.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

If the cancellation is made 4 weeks (or less) before your booking date, the total booking cost must still be paid. If the cancellation is 4-8 weeks before your booking date 50% of your final payment will be required. Cancellations over 8 weeks - no further payment is due, but your deposit will not be refunded.

How much time is needed on the wedding day?

Time depends on the size of your bridal party, what they require and the time of your ceremony. A start time will be discussed and confirmed at your trial.

Do I need to bring anything for the trial?

I recommend you wear a white top, or neutral colours to resemble and get the most out of your trial. Images of styles that you like and dislike, plus any accessories, clips of veil you have chosen.

Can my Bridesmaids have a trial?

Trials are not necessary for every member of your bridal party, although sometimes a bride will choose to have a trial session for one of the bridesmaids. Either way, we do talk about looks and styles that will work for the others.  It’s helpful for both of us if you have a Pinterest board for your bridesmaids so I can see their hair types, dresses and some ideas that you would like for them, but I’ll have suggestions too!

When do you require final payment?

Final payment is gratefully received by bank transfer 4 weeks before your wedding date. If you would prefer to pay cash, you can do so at your trial.

Should I wash my hair before the wedding day?

Please ensure your hair is washed thoroughly, the night before your trial session and wedding day. For long hair, please pay particular attention to underneath the hair using two shampoos to cleanse the scalp. I can’t stress the importance of this enough! It’s so imperative as greasy patches or oily hair will significantly affect dry styling with heated tools and your hairstyle is more than likely to be compromised.

How long does a trial take?

Normally between 1.5-2 hours.

What deposit do you require?

£100 non-refundable deposit, that will be taken off of final payment

When/ where do trials take place?

I recommend having a trial 6-8 weeks before your wedding date, so that ideas are fresh in our minds. Trails take place at my home in Bristol or can take place at your home*, depending on your location.
(*please note, an extra charge will be added at 0.50p per mile for me traveling to your house.)

Can I bring anyone to my trial with me?

I don’t advise bringing more than one bridesmaid and/or Mother/relative with you. It’s really important for us to focus on your wishes and make sure we create a look that is perfect for you on your wedding day. Please do not bring young children with you for your trial.
